SPORT CENTRAL EQUIPMENT OVERAGES - EQUIPMENT OFFERED

The Hockey Alberta Foundation has a long-standing relationship with Sport Central: we collectively believe that kids should have access to play their sport of choice.
Through community partnerships like Sport Central, sport is more accessible for kids.
Sport Central is a kids’ sports charity dedicated to making sports accessible for kids, ages 4-17, facing financial hardship. They collect gently used sports gear through generous community donations, then carefully repair, refurbish, and redistribute it directly to kids or through community outreach. Each piece of equipment helps remove barriers to participation and gives kids the opportunity to play, grow, and belong.
Being in Alberta, Sport Central receives A LOT of Hockey Equipment. To keep equipment current and safe, it needs to be redistributed in a timely manner. Currently, Sport Central is housing overages in certain hockey equipment and would like to offer it to the Hockey Alberta Foundation community.
The equipment is being offered first come, first served.
Hockey overages include:
- Goalie gear of all sizes - everything except for goalie helmets
- Hockey pants sizes 24" and up
- Youth and Junior sized shoulder pads
- 14" hockey gloves
