Lacombe Minor Hockey Association introduced the U11AA program in the 2022/23 season under the Hockey Alberta pilot project U11HADP. For the 2024/25 season Hockey Alberta completed the pilot and adopted the U11AA elite stream, with the league operating under Hockey Alberta.

The Central Alberta Selects is a hub association operating under Lacombe Minor Hockey. Hub Associaitions include Blackfalds, Stettler, Ponoka, Delburne, Clive, Big Valley and Byemoor.
Practice 2 x per week
Development 1 X every third week
Home games in all hub associations
Head Coaches are compensated by the association and chosen in the off season.
